Service Terms, Client Responsibilities & Limitations

Our commitment is to provide safe, high-quality bathroom renovations that meet Australian building standards. This section explains the terms under which our services are delivered, your responsibilities as a client, and the limitations we must outline to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties.

Service Delivery

• All renovation work is carried out by licensed builders and qualified trades in accordance with Australian Standards, building codes, and local regulations.
• Project timelines will be discussed and agreed in advance. While every effort is made to meet schedules, unforeseen circumstances such as material delays, weather conditions, or site restrictions may require adjustments.
• We reserve the right to pause or reschedule work if site conditions are unsafe, access is restricted, or essential information is withheld.

Client Responsibilities

• Ensure clear and safe access to the property for our team and contractors throughout the project.
• Advise us of any known hazards, structural issues, or building restrictions before work begins.
• Provide accurate information about the property and existing bathroom layout, including plumbing or electrical considerations relevant to the project.
• Secure all necessary permissions, strata approvals, or landlord consent prior to the commencement of work.

Limitations & Exclusions

• We are not responsible for hidden defects or pre-existing issues uncovered during demolition, such as asbestos, structural faults, or non-compliant plumbing or wiring. These will be quoted and addressed separately.
• Our services cover only the agreed renovation scope. Any work outside this scope, such as unrelated repairs or additional design changes, will require separate approval and quotation.
• We cannot guarantee the performance or longevity of products, fixtures, or finishes supplied directly by the client.
• Any additional work identified during the renovation will be outlined and priced separately before proceeding.

Warranties & Liability

• All renovation work is covered by statutory warranties in line with NSW building legislation and Australian Consumer Law.
• Manufacturer warranties for fixtures, fittings, and products are provided by the supplier or manufacturer. We will assist with documentation where possible.
• To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the relevant portion of the contract, as appropriate.

Payment Terms, Cancellations & Legal Provisions

This section sets out our payment policies, cancellation procedures, dispute resolution process, and legal disclaimers. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect both parties, and maintain professional standards throughout your renovation project.

Payment Terms

• All pricing will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work, either through a formal quotation or service agreement.
• Payment terms, including deposits and progress payments, will be clearly outlined before work begins. These may vary depending on project size and duration.
• Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be specified on your invoice.
• Late payments may attract interest charges or administrative fees as permitted by law. Accounts not settled within the agreed timeframe may be referred for collection.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please provide at least 7 days' notice. Shorter notice periods may result in forfeiture of deposits or additional fees to cover costs incurred.
• We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel works due to unforeseen events such as illness, supply chain disruptions, extreme weather, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will communicate promptly and arrange a suitable alternative timeframe.
• Repeated cancellations or failure to provide property access may result in refusal of future service.

Dispute Resolution

• If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work, please notify us promptly so we can address your concerns in good faith.
• We aim to resolve all disputes amicably and professionally. If a resolution cannot be reached, mediation or other remedies under Australian law may be pursued.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

• All renovation work is undertaken in compliance with NSW building laws, Australian Standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• We hold the required builder licences and insurances to carry out bathroom renovations in New South Wales.
• Nothing in these Terms of Service affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Limitation of Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-performing the agreed work or refunding the relevant portion of your payment.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to delays, loss of use, or property damage beyond the agreed scope of work.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring that any fixtures or fittings supplied independently of our service are safe, compliant, and suitable for installation.
